The Three Pillars of a Successful Settlement

Reaching the closing table on the purchase of any piece of property is a complex transaction.

You’ll encounter moving parts at every turn, and surprises can pop up at the worst times. But no matter what the transaction throws your way, you can overcome it when you have three key pieces working together.

The buyer’s agent, the lender and the title company.

We can’t stress enough how important it is to have each of these three pillars on the same page from the very beginning. If any one of these entities is going rogue, the whole settlement is suddenly at risk.

But when all three are working together, like a well-oiled closing machine, then there is no obstacle that can’t be overcome.

So we go above and beyond to make sure that we are working together as a team to make the settlement experience smooth, easy and stress-free for the buyers.

Our secret?

Communication.

In fact, it borders on over-communication. We’re OK with that.

From stressing the importance of a preliminary title review to checking and double-checking that everything is in order well ahead of settlement, we’re going to have the buyer’s agent and the lender on speed dial.

Fortunately, we’ve built such strong relationships with both agents and lenders over the years that this communication quickly becomes second nature. Each of us knows what the others are thinking, so we can anticipate the next steps and be prepared to act.

When we’re working together, the buyer wins.

We all win.
